Read the full storyBromsgrove sits just past the Lickey Hills, close enough to Birmingham that a great many people here commute into it and far enough out that the district is mostly countryside. Alvechurch and Barnt Green are the villages to the north east, Rubery and Wythall on the northern edge are effectively Birmingham fringe, and Hagley is over towards the Worcestershire and Dudley boundary.
Bromsgrove News reports what the district’s own record shows. Bromsgrove District Council publishes its planning register, licensing notices, committee papers and spending, and in a district ringed by green belt those documents are where nearly every significant local argument is written down first. We read them and report what is in them, with a link to the source on every fact.
